Our Ingredients Heka aromatherapy oils are a combination of exquisite base oils and potent essential oils - the concentrated plant extract containing hundreds of naturally occurring chemicals. The base oils, for example jojoba, rosehip or pumpkin, have excellent skin healing properties and are packed full of vitamins and anti oxidants. The essential oils such as frankincense, neroli or sweet basil are carefully chosen for their very specific physical and psychological benefits. Many have been used since Ancient Egyptian times. That’s why we’ve named our range after Heka, the Ancient Egyptian god of medicine and magic.
Our products have been professionally tested in an approved laboratory for public sale. However please always do a patch test first in case of sensitivity.
Our Promise Quality is everything at heka. We select only the very best ingredients for guaranteed freshness and efficacy. Most of our ingredients come from certified organic suppliers and have been cold pressed quickly to avoid deterioration. Of course none have been tested on animals. We require proof of licensing for obtaining rare or protected oils (for example sandalwood). We’ve also minimised packaging to reduce waste.
Like the Egyptians, we don’t use any synthetic substances or preservatives in our pure oil blends, so we only mix to order.
